Funds, funds, funds

I was just sitting here thinking about the things I have to pay next week, and how it leave’s no money left over — but that’s life, right?

I remember a little quip my accountant told me, that made me think, it goes like this:

Two things you can never avoid in life is Tax and Death.

Now, whilst this may be true, I beg to differ. One of them you can avoid, which is Tax. If you think about it, people like me work, and pay tax. That tax goes to the Government, which goes to police/hospitals e.t.c. but it also goes to the people not working; people living on the dole.

Which got me thinking, why don’t the people that are on the dole pay tax? The people that work have to pay tax to support the people on the dole, so they should have to pay tax to support the Government, right?

So I think the line should be:

Two things you can never avoid in life is Tax and Death, unless you live on the dole, then your tax-free.

Well, that’s just my little rant for the day, what do you think, should people that are living on the dole pay tax too?
