Games and Tools for the iPhone

By | November 6, 2008

I’ve been trying out a few games and tools for the iPhone, here are a couple that I really like.

1. Bejeweled 2 (Homepage)

It’s a great game where you have to line up gems, and can get bonuses by aligning 4 or more gems in a row, it’s a very addictive game.

2. Enigmo (Homepage)

The purpose of the game is to move various liquids into into their proper tanks. In order to do so, players must manipulate bumpers, sliders, accelerators and sponges to affect the course of each stream.

3. Google Earth (Homepage)

As the title says, it’s Google Earth for the iPhone. You can use the built-in GPS to locate exactly where you are, route destinations e.t.c.

4. MxTube (Homepage)

MxTube allows you to download or stream content from YouTube, it’s the first official downloader for YouTube clips for the iPhone.

5. WhatIP (Homepage)

It allows you to see the IP address of your iPhone, handy if you need to SSH into it.

6. Rooms (Homepage)

This is an IRC application for the iPhone, you can jump into your favourite IRC channel on the go.

Well that is all for now from me, as I discover other applications / games / tools I will let you know. If you have a recommendation for your favourite iPhone application / game / tool, be sure to comment.
