Some Updates

Well the past week has been all about work, life and the family. Chell and I have both been busy with work and the kids. We took them down The Strand last Friday for dinner and a swim at the Rockpool.

Chell and I both got tattoo’s, hers is 4 butterflies – each one representing one of the kids, it looks great. Mine is my star sign (Pisces) on the inside of my lower arm. We took the kids to the strand last night too for Phoebe’s birthday, they had fun playing with Phoebe and Jayden. Matt got stung by a bee or something but he is alright.

The kids are back at their dads now for another week. We can’t wait to get them back again. Tonight we’re going to go out clubbin’ and chill after a big week. The thing that sucks is that I work the next 5 days, yes all weekend! I will get a good pay though!

My birthday weekend

My party was on the 15th March, which was great. I had an RDO on Sat/Sun/Mon which worked out quite well. I created some invitations for the party, and sent them to some friends from work. On the Friday, Rachelle and I went to Jupiters Casino for dinner, which was lovely. The food is always nice there. Then on the Saturday Rachelle and I went shopping on the Saturday to buy some meat and grog for the BBQ. We bought a 700ml bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label, Smirnoff Vodka and Jim Beam White Label.

The party was meant to start at 7:30pm, but a few people had to do a few things first, so we picked Josh up and then Rachelle and Josh went to pick Dale and Mara up. Sabina turned up while I was waiting for the rest of the people to turn up, then Kirsten and Amanda turned up. We started drinking and a short while later Brian and Brad turned up, so we drank awhile more, then Brad, being the chef, cooked up the BBQ for us.

Whilst the BBQ was cooking, the oil caught on fire and the smoke alarms went off which was quite hilarious, then Shane and Neil turned up. We all had a nice big feed, and proceeded to drink more alcohol. By the end of the night (1:30am or something) Josh and I finished the bottle of Johnnie Black, and there was about 2 shots of Jim Beam left. Josh ended going home as he had to work at 10am that morning.

Shane, Neil, Brian and Brad left, so then we all then decided to cruise into the city. We made it into the city about 2:30am or so, and went to Mad Cow. We didn’t stay there long as Rachelle started to feel a bit sick, so we left and went to wait in the taxi line. Rachelle ended up being sick a few times whilst waiting for the taxi, haha.

We all made it home safely, dropped Sabina off at her place and Amanda and Kirsten crashed on the couch at our place. We finally got to sleep about 4:30am or so, and woke back up about 6:30am. After coffee and everything, Rachelle decided to get the cake out, and damn it was huge! So we all had a piece of that, except Amanda.

Kirsten and Amanda took us around to Micah’s place to pick up the Delica, and then Rachelle and I came back home, got changed and drove up to Crystal Creek. We spent a couple of hours there, the water was sort of cold, so didn’t actually go for a swim. Rachelle got in the water a little bit but just sat in it basically.

On Monday Rachelle and I went shopping for the day, then Josh came and tagged along too, we spent the whole day looking around for nice hoodies, 59FIFTY hats, and just general clothing. Once all the shopping was over, Rachelle and I went to Hungry Jacks and got some dinner, came home and watch some dvds which we hired out from Blockbuster.

Dinner and Clubbing

Rachelle and I were planning to go out for a couple of hours on Friday night, but didn’t that soon change!

We ended up going out for dinner, and a pretty nice place, the atmosphere was great, but the meals were quite expensive. We ended up getting the meals a quite a good price though They were delicious, I must say. We then proceeded to pick up Sabina, but she wasn’t quite ready to go out, so we went home for about an hour, and then went and picked her up.

We then went into town, and went to The Cri for about an hour or so, but wasn’t much happening (the doors to the dance floor were closed at 10:30pm, they didn’t open until about 11:30pm or something), so we ended up going to the Mad Cow, and drank and danced etc. We then decided to leave there about 2:30am, and went to one of Rachelle’s friends places and stayed there until about 4am or something.

I ended up dropping Sabina home, Rachelle and I stopped at McDonalds for some food, and went back home to sleep. It was quite a good night, I would have loved to have drank more, but being designated driver was alright, I still had fun which was the main thing.

Well, that’s all for now, I should be getting my new laptop on Tuesday/Wednesday, so stay tuned for pics and updates.

Night Out

Josh, Sabina, Rachelle and I decided to go out last night, and it was a blast. I haven’t had so much fun in awhile. We drank, we partied, and we just had fun. Before hand we went to the bottle-o and bought a 6pack of Carlton Cold, and a 10pack of UDL (5 lemon/lime and 5 passionfruit). We went to Belinda’s place, one of Rachelle’s friends, and drank the beer there, and Rachelle had one drink so we could get into town.

Once we left there, we headed into town and went to The Mad Cow for awhile, Josh and I had a couple bourbons, Rachelle had some Fire Engines and Sabina drank Smirnoff Ice all night, then went to Monsoons to meet up with more of Rachelle’s friends, Josh and I had a shot of Johnny Walker on the rocks, lovely. After that, back to The Mad Cow to party, party, party. We were running low on cash (needed money for the cab ride home), then and idea hit me. See, we still had about 6 UDL’s in the car, so Josh and I went to the car, loaded our pockets, came back to the club and we all consumed UDL’s, awesome.

Night Out

Well, I finished work at 8:40pm last night, and was looking forward to going out. When I got downstairs at work it was raining heavily, so it dampened my mood a bit

We ended up going all over to different clubs, for some reason not much was happening, could have been the weather. We consumed quite a lot of alcohol (Rachelle drank a whole bottle of wine, and lost count of what else we drank), I drank quite a few drinks too.

We ended up leaving the city about 2:30am and got a lift back to Kirsten’s, and then I drove us home. I was kind of scared about the ride home, I was fine to drive and all, it’s just the law requires people on a provisional license to have 0.0 blood alcohol, I knew I would be a 0.02 or so, but I made it home alright, didn’t get pulled over, and Rachelle pretty much passed out as soon as her head hit the bed

All in all, it was a good night, had a lot of fun, got a lot of photos, Rachelle and I had a great time, so I was happy about that

Well, I have finally got my blog all fixed up and looking good, Rachelle is still out on the town, so time for me to have a shower, go to bed, catch up on some much needed sleep and await a phonecall to pick her up!
