Dinner and a BBQ

Last night I cooked a nice Indian Butter Chicken and rice for dinner. Chell and I both loved it. It was delicious and Chell even said it tasted just like Masala.

Then we got the kids back today so we went to The Strand and I cooked a BBQ lunch which was yum. The kids had fun playing at the waterpark whilst I was cooking lunch.

For dinner tonight I’m going to cook some burrito’s, which is always good fun. Chell and the kids love burrito’s and it’s a quick and easy meal.

That is all.

Well I arrived home from work around 7:30pm tonight, was looking forward to it as Chell and I are having Masala for dinner, it is so delicious. I picked up the food, but we are looking after the kids since Micah is busy, so we have to wait for him to pick them up before we have dinner.

I’m suprised that the girls are still awake as it’s 8:30pm, we are just sitting in the lounge room watching Dora The Explorer movies that I got for the girls, they love them.

Well, that’s all for now, Micah said he will be here in about 30 minutes, and then it is me gorging on Masala! Yum!

Dinner and movie

After work today Chell and I went out to dinner and see a movie, it was such a great night. We don’t go out very often, so it was nice to spend some quality time with Chell.

We went to Hog’s Breath for dinner, that place has the nicest steak I have ever eaten. Afterwards we went and saw the new Will Smith movie, Hancock.

The movie was great, it’s about a superhero who the public hates because he creates so much destruction trying to help people, and he has such a short temper.

He ends up trying to turn his life around and become the superhero everyone loves. The movie was jam packed with action, and has a few twists and turns throughout. It is a great movie and I would recommend seeing it.

Dinner

Rachelle and I went to dinner Thursday night at Cactus Jacks on Palmer St. We were going to sit inside, but it seemed nicer to sit outside. Rachelle had a Strawberry Margarita whilst I had a Coke, as I was driving.

I ordered the BBQ Ribs, and Rachelle ordered the Chicken Crispers, both meals were delicious. We were going to go to The Strand and have some ice cream afterwards, but the meals were too filling, so we decided to go for a drive around, then proceed home.

We got to use Rachelle’s new digital camera, the Fuji FinePix Z100fd, it takes amazing pictures I must say!

Well, that’s all for now, Rachelle and I are taking the kids to The Water Park on The Strand today, so will update some photos later.

Dinner and Clubbing

Rachelle and I were planning to go out for a couple of hours on Friday night, but didn’t that soon change!

We ended up going out for dinner, and a pretty nice place, the atmosphere was great, but the meals were quite expensive. We ended up getting the meals a quite a good price though They were delicious, I must say. We then proceeded to pick up Sabina, but she wasn’t quite ready to go out, so we went home for about an hour, and then went and picked her up.

We then went into town, and went to The Cri for about an hour or so, but wasn’t much happening (the doors to the dance floor were closed at 10:30pm, they didn’t open until about 11:30pm or something), so we ended up going to the Mad Cow, and drank and danced etc. We then decided to leave there about 2:30am, and went to one of Rachelle’s friends places and stayed there until about 4am or something.

I ended up dropping Sabina home, Rachelle and I stopped at McDonalds for some food, and went back home to sleep. It was quite a good night, I would have loved to have drank more, but being designated driver was alright, I still had fun which was the main thing.

Well, that’s all for now, I should be getting my new laptop on Tuesday/Wednesday, so stay tuned for pics and updates.

Girls Birthday

Yesterday was Emily and Tiana’s second birthday, the terrible two’s, but with twins! I finished work at 3pm yesterday and got the girls, by the time we got home it was about 3:30pm, they unwrapped their presents and had some cake, we got some photos and they were all happy and cute.

Micah came to get the girls about 4-4:15pm so when he got them Rachelle and I got upset, they looked so sad leaving. Rachelle, Kirsten and I ended up going to Woolworths, we bought some chicken and vegetables and went back to Kirsten’s place and I cooked up a big stir-fry, it was delicious.

We get the kids back again this afternoon when I finish work, I’m so excited I can’t wait! That’s all for now, I will post some pictures of their birthday in the gallery when I get home from work.
