Review: Trace (iPhone/iPod Touch)

Trace Trace is a free game that is available in the App Store that doesn’t look like a decent or fun game at first sight. The game itself is all drawn free-hand and the animations are quite basic but the game itself is fun to play.

The game Trace was developed by Bovinedragon Software and was released on 21/10/08 into the App Store. The game runs in landscape mode to give the user more area to play with. The controls are at the bottom of the screen which include a left/right arrow at the bottom left to control the character and a jump button at the bottom right. In between these controls is a retry, back and draw/erase button also.

Games and Tools for the iPhone

I’ve been trying out a few games and tools for the iPhone, here are a couple that I really like.

1. Bejeweled 2 (Homepage)

It’s a great game where you have to line up gems, and can get bonuses by aligning 4 or more gems in a row, it’s a very addictive game.

2. Enigmo (Homepage)

The purpose of the game is to move various liquids into into their proper tanks. In order to do so, players must manipulate bumpers, sliders, accelerators and sponges to affect the course of each stream.

3. Google Earth (Homepage)

As the title says, it’s Google Earth for the iPhone. You can use the built-in GPS to locate exactly where you are, route destinations e.t.c.
