A sad short story
I saw this floating around Facebook in regards to child abuse awhile ago. It’s something that touched a nerve and thought I would share. Any form of child abuse is wrong, and those guilty should be punished for it.
I have changed the wording to Australian English instead of American English to suit. 
A child says to his Mum “Mummy I coloured your sheets with lipstick”, with anger she starts to hit her child until he was unconscious. Then she regrets what she had done, and crying says to her child, “please open your eyes”, but it was to late. His tiny heart stopped beating. When she walked in to her bedroom, the sheet said “I LOVE YOU MUMMY”.

In a relationship, married or not. Read this.
When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?
I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

I Believe…
I saw this floating around the interwebs and thought I would share some things that I believe. I hope you like it.
- That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do love each other.
- That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
- That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
- That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

How Aussie are you?
I stole borrowed this meme from OzSoapbox who got it from Daniel Bowen and so on and so forth. I don’t generally do meme’s but figured hey, I’m Aussie so let’s give it a go.
All the ones I have done I have marked in bold. I also have added extra comments (if you copy and paste this make sure to remove them). My score is 60 / 102 which is heaps better than I expected.
